The screens are connected to a Player PC (a normal Windows PC dedicated to running our Digital Signage Player software) which stores the content that will be played. (You can source the hardware yourself - saves you $).
The Player PC is connected via broadband to a Manager PC which is used to define the content (adverts and order of play) that will be played on each Player PC.
The connection between the Player PC and the Manager PC uses a broadband internet connection (and an FTP site that your ISP can easily assist you with). Local management can be done over a LAN.
The Player PC checks on the FTP site at pre-determined hourly intervals & downloads new content if found.
